CONGREGATIONAL MEETING - DECEMBER 15
An official congregational meeting is called for Sunday, December 15, following the 9:00 a.m. service. The purpose of the meeting is to vote on approving corrections of our Bethany constitution. The Constitution Committee has worked for years on coming up with an excellent document with which to govern all aspects of Bethany. The final approval of our proposed constitution is required by our SE Iowa Synod. From time to time questions come up on policies, decisions, and practices that the church is engaged in. At times it is inevitable that we need clarification on matters that hold differing perspectives. Constitutions resolve any questions that come up so that the church can run smoothly. The meeting should not last very long, but we will provide time to address any questions.
