September Pastor's Book Club

Joint Service @ Messiah for Rally Day and Bishop Current Joining Us!
Rally Day is next Sunday, September 13! We will have a joint service @ Messiah and Bishop Amy Current will be joining us! Worship service starts at 10:30am and a potluck picnic will follow the service!
God's Work, Our Hands Day!
The work day for God's Work, Our Hands is on Saturday, September 12! We will meet at Bethany at 9:00am! We will be working on some outdoor projects, including power washing at the Homeless Shelter and landscaping at Heartsong! Our lower impact projects include fringe tie fleece blankets for DHHS/BPD to disperse during crises and hygiene kits for local schools, both projects will take place at Bethany. We are working on expanding this list of projects! A sign-up sheet is available on the table in the Fellowship Hall. Please write your name under which category of project you would like to participate in, physical labor or lower impact.
Lutheran Disaster Response
Starting this Sunday, September 6, we will be taking donations for Lutheran Disaster Response in regards to the recent deadly catastrophic floods in Nepal/Tibet. To donate, fill out the insert form in your bulletin and drop it in the offering plate on Sunday, with your donation. Last day for donations will be Sunday, September 27.

Saturday Night Worship @ Unity
Unity Lutheran Church will offer a Saturday night worship service option during Spring/Summer. Beginning Saturday, May 23, Unity's weekly service will be held on Saturdays at 5:30pm. This will be a "regular" service and will continue through September 5 (Labor Day weekend). Everyone is welcome!
